  I want to send my donation by mail, who should I make the cheque out to?

  How long will it take to receive my tax receipt?
 
A)
  If you make an online donation, you will receive an electronic copy of your tax receipt immediately via email.  If you make your donation by mail, or by phone, every effort will be made to process your receipt within 7 business days, which you will receive by mail.

  What credit cards do you accept for donations?
 
A)
  We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express. We also accept donations via cheque, cash and securities.
 
 
 
Q)
  What portion of my gift goes toward equipment needs?
 
A)
  In 2010/11 we will allocate $0.72 on every dollar raised toward equipment purchases for OTMH.

  Can my donation benefit a specific area of the hospital?
 
A)
  Yes. While the Hospital has identified priority equipment needs, you may still direct your contribution to a specific program, department or piece of equipment.  Please contact the Foundation’s office to learn more.

  Will you share my personal contact information with others?
 
A)
  No. The Oakville Hospital Foundation respects your privacy and is committed to the protection of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not rent, sell or trade the personal information we collect including information contained in our mailing lists.

  What is the purpose of the Inner Circle Membership Card that is mailed to donors by the Foundation?
 
A)
  The Inner Circle Membership Card is our way of acknowledging the commitment of our generous friends – we hope you will carry this card in your wallet as a reminder of our appreciation.

The card can also assist you when making an inquiry to the Foundation, as it cites your donor number on the front of the card. It also provides you with a handy and easily accessible pocket sized calendar, for your reference, on the back of the card.

  Will the Oakville Hospital Foundation send out cards in honour or in memory of an individual?
 
A)
  Yes. We have many donors who make gifts in honour or in memory of friends and loved ones. When you make such a gift, a card will be sent to the individual that is being honoured or to their designated family member, to acknowledge your generous donation.   No. The Foundation respects the privacy of donors and keeps this information confidential.

  Visit the Publications Section found in News & Events, where you can access an online version of the report.  Alternatively, you may pick up a hard copy at the Foundation Office located at 231 Oak Park Blvd, Suite 207.
