Ethical Fundraising
The Oakville Hospital Foundation is proud to have been awarded Imagine Canada’s Ethical Fundraising License.
Imagine Canada, formerly the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy, has developed the ethical fundraising and financial accountability code, which is a set of standards and benchmarks that recognizes organizations that manage their funds responsibly and report their financial affairs accurately and completely.
The License was created in response to growing public concern about accountability in the sector and remains the best way for a charity to assess its transparency and accountability.
The Ethical Fundraising License logo appears on print and electronic materials as a sign to our donors and the public at large that the Oakville Hospital Foundation meets the highest standards for accountability and openness in our fundraising practices and policies.
